On August 12, Bill Gates, Chairman of Microsoft^®, joined visionary technologists from Microsoft Research (MSR) Asia, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, and the University of Hong Kong, to celebrate a decade of ground-breaking collaboration during the Microsoft Research Asia's 10th Anniversary Innovation Forum.

The forum marked a history of partnership between Microsoft and Asia's academic community - a partnership initiated in 1998, when MSR Asia was founded. Since that time, Microsoft has worked with universities across Asia to push the boundaries of innovation, enhance learning, support the growth of healthy knowledge economies, and cultivate the next generation of scientists, innovators, entrepreneurs and business leaders.
