Terms and conditions for Microsoft Easter Holiday Offers
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ("TERMS AND CONDITIONS") BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN MICROSOFT EASTER HOLIDAY OFFERS ("PROMOTION"). THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND MICROSOFT HONG KONG LIMITED ("MICROSOFT HK") ESTABLISHING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH YOU ARE ENTITLED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROMOTION. BY PARTICIPATING THE PROMOTION, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY, THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
- Microsoft HK of 13/F., Cyberport 2, 100 Cyberport Road, Hong Kong is the sponsor of this Promotion.
- This Promotion will last from 15 March 2013 to 31 May 2013 ("Promotion Period").
- Customers purchasing a full packaged product key version of Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013, Microsoft Office Home & Business 2013 or Microsoft Office Professional 2013 ("Eligible Microsoft Office Products")* from authorized resellers as designated by Microsoft HK ("Designated Authorized Resellers") during the Promotion Period are eligible to redeem a ViewSonic Power Station VMP-11201 ("Power Station Gift").
*This offer is eligible for customers purchasing full packaged product key version of Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013, Office Home & Business 2013 and Office Professional 2013 Version Only (Upgrade Version, Academic Version, Branded PC Version, Internet order or Internet Download Version are not applicable). Microsoft Office for Mac Version is not applicable.
- Customer may only redeem one (1) Power Station Gift per purchase of each Eligible Microsoft Office Products, up to a maximum of five (5) Power Station Gifts per single invoice, irrespective of the value or number of Eligible Microsoft Office Products purchased.
- Customers must redeem the Power Station Gifts under this Promotion from Denki AV Service Centre between 15 March 2013 and 10 June 2013. Any Power Station Gifts not redeemed on or before 10 June 2013 will be deemed to be forfeited.
- Customers purchasing a full version of Microsoft Windows 8 OEM System Builder License* ("Eligible Windows 8 Product") from Designated Authorized Resellers during the Promotion Period are eligible to redeem (1) a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard & Mouse bundle Set 800 gift and (2) a Free Norton Internet Security 1 Year Subscription Voucher ("Windows 8 Gifts").
*This offer is eligible for Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro OEM System Builder License only (Upgrade Version, Branded PC Version or Internet Download Version are not applicable).
- A customer may only redeem one (1) Windows 8 Gifts per purchase of each Eligible Windows 8 Product, up to a maximum of five (5) Windows 8 Gifts per single invoice, irrespective of the value or number of Eligible Windows 8 Products purchased.
- Customers must redeem the Windows 8 Gifts under this Promotion from the redemption centre designated by Microsoft HK ("Denki AV Service Centre") between 15 March 2013 and 10 June 2013. Any ("Windows 8 Gifts") not redeemed on or before 10 June 2013 will be deemed to be forfeited.
- Customers must provide (i) the original purchase invoice bearing a date of purchase of the Eligible Windows 8 Product(s) and/or Eligible Microsoft Office Product(s) within the Promotion Period stamped with the company chop of the Designated Authorized Reseller and (ii) the Eligible Windows 8 Product(s) and/or Microsoft Office Product(s) including the packaging box (es) when redeeming the Windows 8 Gift(s) and/or Power Station Gift(s). Customers who redeem five (5) or more Windows 8 Gift(s) and/or Power Station Gift(s) must also submit their business cards (if any) to the representatives of Denki AV Service Centre.
- The representatives of Denki AV Service Centre will verify the eligibility of the customer. The key paper inside the Eligible Microsoft Windows 8 Products and Microsoft Office Product(s) will be stamped to verify redemption of the Windows 8 Gift(s) and/or Power Station Gift(s). The representatives of Denki AV Service Centre will be required to also keep the bottom of the packaging box(es) for record of redemption.
- This Promotion is only open to corporate entities and Hong Kong residents of at least 18 years of age at the time of purchase of the products under this Promotion. To avoid any doubt, resellers, distributors, dealers or agents of Microsoft HK are not entitled to participate in this Promotion.
- Windows 8 Gift(s) and/or Power Station Gift(s) are hereafter collectively referred to as "Gifts". Gifts will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis while stocks last. In the event that the Gifts are fully allocated, Microsoft HK may, but will not be obligated to, supply alternative gifts, and shall not be liable for any failure to do so. Cash, refund or credit alternatives to Gifts will not be offered in exchange.
- These offers are not transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with other Microsoft HK promotion offers or discounts and cannot be redeemed for cash, spending credit or other gifts.
- If any customer engages in any illegal, invalid, fictitious, or improper acts to redeem a Gift, Microsoft HK reserves the right to decline the redemption or to demand face value of the redeemed Gift from the customer.
- Microsoft HK is not liable for, and does not provide any warranties in relation to, the quality, fitness for purpose, performance, maintenance, repair or use of any Gifts. Any enquiries relating thereto should be directed to the relevant gift supplier / manufacturer. Customers agree that Microsoft HK will not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage or personal injury resulting from the use of the Gifts.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Microsoft HK shall not be liable if the Designated Authorized Resellers do not inform the customer about details of this Promotion nor shall it be liable for any acts or omissions by the Designated Authorized Resellers.
- Microsoft HK will have the final discretion on all matters concerning this Promotion, including its terms and conditions and offers, and to vary and/or discontinue any offer with prior notice. In case of any dispute, Microsoft HK reserves the right to make all final decisions.
- If any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be held to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, then such provision shall be replaced with terms and conditions that most closely match the intent of Microsoft HK and the remainder of the Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect.
- These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement with customers in relation to this Promotion and they shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong SAR. Customers and Microsoft HK agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong SAR courts to resolve any disputes relating to them.
- In the event of any inconsistency between the Chinese and English version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
