Abstract Descriptions for Each Competition Track
Track 1: "Unveil your skills with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Windows Small Business Server 2003"

This competition track is focused on how to configure, manage and troubleshoot the given scenarios with Windows Server 2003 and Windows Small Business Server (SBS) 2003. The scope will mainly be, but not limited to, Application services configuration, server management, troubleshooting and Security consideration both on Windows Server 2003 and Windows SBS 2003 and its interrelated infrastructure.

All of the tasks and questions set in this specific track are mainly purposed to test the knowledge, responses, hands-on practical experience and problem-solving skills of Windows Server 2003 and SBS 2003 under a limited time constraint.
Track 2: "Secure your messaging infrastructure with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and Microsoft ISA Server 2004

Exchange Server, the Microsoft messaging and collaboration server, is software that runs on servers that enables you to send and receive electronic mail and other forms of interactive communication through computer networks. Designed to interoperate with a software client application such as Microsoft Outlook, Exchange Server also interoperates with Outlook Express and other e-mail client applications.

Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004 is the advanced stateful packet and application-layer inspection firewall, virtual private network (VPN), and Web cache solution that enables Enterprise customers to easily maximize existing information technology (IT) investments by improving network security and performance.

This competition track is focused on how to configure, manage and troubleshoot the given scenarios with Exchange Server 2003 and ISA The scope will mainly be, but not limited to, mailbox management, connection diagnostics, Exchange services configuration, infrastructure troubleshooting, Security consideration on Exchange Server 2003 and its interrelated infrastructure, server publishing and firewall policy design.

All of the tasks and questions set in this specific track are mainly purposed to test the knowledge, responses, hands-on practical experience and problem-solving skills of Exchange Server 2003 under a limited time constraint.
Track 3: "Monitoring and reporting management with Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003 and Microsoft Operations Manager 2005"

Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 provides powerful desktop administration tools for managing numerous of client computers. Main features include hardware inventory, software inventory, software distribution and remote client troubleshooting.

Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 helps provide manageability as part of the design and implementation of Windows Server System technologies. It helps simplify identification of issues, streamlines the process for determining the root cause of the problem and facilitates quick resolution to restore services.

This competition track is focused on how to configure, manage and troubleshoot the given scenarios with SMS 2003 and MOM 2005. The scope will mainly be, but not limited to, asset management, software distribution, server monitoring, reporting, troubleshooting and security consideration on SMS 2003 and MOM 2005 environment.

All of the tasks and questions set in this specific track are mainly purposed to test the knowledge, responses, hands-on practical experience and problem-solving skills of SMS Server 2003 and MOM 2005 under a limited time constraint.
Track 4: "Exploring Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005"

SQL Server 2005 is more than just a database management system. It includes multiple components and services that make it a comprehensive platform for enterprise applications. This track is discussed how to manage SQL Server 2005 advances your data infrastructure in three key areas: enterprise data management, developer productivity, and business intelligence (BI).

This competition track is focused on developing SQL Server management objects. The scope will mainly be, but not limited to, implementation of Visual Studio (from an IT Professional perspective) to create BI solutions and transaction-based message applications.

All of the tasks and questions set in this specific track are mainly designed to test the knowledge, responses, hands-on practical experience and development skills of SQL Server 2005 under a limited time constraint.
