Jason Chiu is the CEO of The Cherrypicks Group, a mobile marketing leader in Asia-Pacific. Cherrypicks focuses on creative and high quality branded mobile applications (iPhone, Android and other smartphone platforms), augmented reality solutions, and targeted mobile advertising platforms. Its blue-chip client base include HSBC, Prudential, P&G, Disneyland, Yahoo, Nokia, Mercedes Benz, HK Jockey Club, LVMH Group, etc. Headquartered in HK, Cherrypicks has regional presence and offices in Jakarta and Beijing.

Prior to founding Cherrypicks in 2000, Mr. Chiu was a Director for Global High Technology and Telecommunications Practice at Deloitte Consulting in Toronto and Hong Kong. Jason holds a B.A.Sc. Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering (Dean’s Honor) with Management Science Option.

Joe Wong is a Senior Consultant with Enterprise Services of Microsoft Hong Kong. He has more than 15 years of IT experience, and is now focusing on Microsoft Unified Communication, Private Cloud and System Center solutions. For the last few years, he has helped various customers in Hong Kong to deploy voice-enabled unified communication solution.

John Thornton is a co-founder of You vs. the Internet where he designs, develops and tests the popular Windows Phone 7 word finding game Wordament. He has been a Microsoft employee for over 14 years working in various product development groups and roles, including Leading Program Management and Test teams. John is passionate about connecting customers through social software and friendly competition. He lives in Kirkland Washington with his wife and 2 daughters.

Lawrence is a WINTEL platform infrastructure architect, particularly focusing on Microsoft servers, storage and security area.  He is carrying more than 12 years of technical presales, implementation and architecture experience, and assisted dozens of enterprise class customer with enabling cost effective, high quality solutions. 

Lawrence is also awarded by Microsoft as Most Valuable Professional, with the technical specialties on System Center products, server and storage virtualization, disaster management and business continuity, SQL server, ForeFront ISA/TMG and ForeFront IAG/UAG. 

Lawrence has established his own IT  architecture and consultancy firm, and enlisted this company as Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, customers include: famous international banks and insurance company, public utilities providers, airlines, government department, telecommunication providers, health care industry players, and more.

Mark is a Senior Consultant with the local Microsoft team in Hong Kong. He has nearly 20 years of IT experience with a particular focus on developing and implementing Search-driven solutions. He joined Microsoft as part of the acquisition of Norwegian search engine company FAST in 2008 and relocated to Hong Kong that same year. He has wide experience in delivering Search projects having worked closely with customers around the world and deep technical experience with Microsoft’s range of Enterprise Search products.

Michael Yau is a Support Practice Manager with Enterprise Services of Microsoft Hong Kong. He is a certified ITIL Master who current leads the Microsoft Premier Services business in Hong Kong.

Nikhil A. Govekar is a Database Architect with overall seven years of experience. Nikhil is a Microsoft Certified Trainer, Oracle Certified Associate, Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Certified IT Professional. Nikhil is experienced in interacting with customers in technical discussions and has worked actively in presentations with top level management. He has previously worked as Domain Expert and Technology Specialist in technologies like ORACLE and JAVA. He has combined experience of more than 100 trainings and projects where he has utilized his skill to the best.

Paul is a consultant in Microsoft Services. He has more than 10 years of SharePoint consulting and project delivery experience in the areas of Enterprise Content Management, Knowledge Management, Web Content Management, Enterprise Search, Project Management, and Form and Workflow System solutions.

Richard Campbell has been involved with microcomputers and software since 1977. His career has spanned the industry both on the hardware and software sides, from manufacturing to sales, service, game development, line-of-business software and large scale systems. He's been deeply involved in creating new businesses around software, hardware, services and products in a huge range of roles, including technical, management and financing. During the halcyon days of the DotComBoom he was a consultant to venture capital firms providing technical due diligence and architectural direction.

Today Richard is on the board of directors for Telerik (www.telerik.com), a leading vendor of development, team productivity, automated testing tools, UI components and content management solutions in the Microsoft space. He is one of the co-founders of Strangeloop Networks (www.strangeloopnetworks.com), developing an appliance for web site performance. He's a partner in PWOP Productions, creating a variety of multimedia programs including ".NET Rocks!, the Internet Audio Talk Show for .NET Developers," (www.dotnetrocks.com) a podcast produced twice a week for more than 150,000 listeners in 120 countries. In addition he's the host of RunAs Radio (www.runasradio.com), a podcast for the IT Professional using Microsoft technologies. Richard also serves as a technical director for Penton Media, planning the content of magazines and conferences that engage technology professionals all over the world.

Sam is a Microsoft IT Senior Program Manager. One of his core responsibilities is on managing the migration of line-of-business (LOB) Field applications used within the company onto the Windows Azure environment.

Scott Schnoll (MCT, MCSE, MCSA) is a Principal Technical Writer on the Exchange User Education team at Microsoft where he authors content on a variety of topics related to Exchange Server, including clustering, high-availability, storage and performance. He is a frequent speaker at major industry conferences, such as Microsoft TechEd, Microsoft IT Forum, Comdex and MCP TechMentor. Prior to joining Microsoft, Scott authored Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Distilled (Addison-Wesley, 2004) and he was the lead author of Exchange 2000 Server: The Complete Reference (Osborne McGraw-Hill, 2000). Scott is a former long-time Microsoft MVP for Exchange Server, Windows and Rights Management Services.

Thomas Chua is a Principle Consultant under Solutions & Platforms Group, APAC in Hitachi Data Systems. He focused on Hitachi Data Systems's Microsoft, Virtualization and Oracle Converged Solutions. His background is on enterprise UNIX consolidation and x86 virtualization solutions.

Victor Thu joined Citrix in Santa Clara, California, U.S.A. October 2007 as the desktop virtualization product marketing manager. In July 2010, he relocated to Asia Pacific as the Senior Product Marketing Manager. In this role, Victor is in charge of Citrix’s product portfolio that spans desktop, network, and cloud. Victor collaborates with product teams in headquarters to advocate key product requirements from customers in the region.

Victor is an industry subject matter expert on desktop virtualization, desktop cloud, and BYOD (Bring Your Own Devices) initiatives where he is often quoted by IT media in Asia Pacific. Victor also delivers keynote presentations at various industry seminars throughout Asia Pacific.

Before joining Citrix, Victor managed product, operations and finance for Siemens U.S.A.’s enterprise communication products. Victor also worked at EFI (Electronics for Imaging, Inc.) where he held a variety of roles such software test engineering and product management for an innovative cloud printing solution (www.printme.com)

Victor Thu holds two patents from USA on internet technology.

Victor received his bachelor’s degree in Physics from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, USA. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree with emphasis in International Business and Marketing Management from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California, USA.

Wei is the SVP System Engineering and GM Business Development APAC for AvePoint, where he works directly with our enterprise customers and partners in South East Asia to support and develop cost-effective SharePoint infrastructure management solutions focused on content life cycle management. With more than 15 years of IT background and 7 years focused in the SharePoint, Wei regularly speaks at technology conferences, seminars and user groups.
