Wavy Edge Copper Hologram CD
Wavy Edge Copper Hologram CD

All Microsoft Office System products come on a holographic disc, commonly referred to as an "edge-to-edge" holographic CD.

Please note that the copper holographic CDs introduced in 2004 may not be included with all Microsoft Office software available in your area. If your CD is different than the one shown refer to the View Previous Versions page for details. Some products in this group may have different text on the CD.

Shown below are specific features of edge-to-edge holographic CD's.

Wavy Edge
Animate

Wavy Edge: Look for the area at the edge of the disc where the copper color has a clean, wavy effect.

Stereogram
Animate

Stereogram: The high resolution three-dimensional hologram of the logo changes color and shape as the DVD is tilted. The stereogram is found within a smaller framed area on the face of the DVD.

Security Patch
Animate

Security Patch: Located at the bottom of the DVD, the word "Microsoft" changes to "GENUINE" as the DVD is tilted.

Background Hologram
Animate

Background Hologram: The background hologram shows vibrant color as the CD is tilted. Note: The copper holographic material is embedded within the CD. It is not a sticker. The face of the CD is surrounded by a clean wavy edge.

Etched Text
Animate

Etched Text: Text will appear to be etched on top of the background holographic image and will shift from a light shade to a dark one as the CD is tilted.
