University of Washington
Our simulation libraries contain a wealth of information about basic amino-acid structural properties. The primary library is Dynameomics, containing simulations of over 800 proteins, which serves to study residues in their protein context. This is supplemented by a library of simulations of the peptide GGXGG, where X is each amino acid. This library serves for investigation of the intrensic propensities of amino-acids in a minimal protein context.
University Corporation for Atmospheric Research
The Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) Model is a next-generation mesoscale numerical weather prediction system designed to serve both operational forecasting and atmospheric research needs. It features multiple dynamical cores, a 3-dimensional variational (3DVAR) data assimilation system, and a software architecture allowing for computational parallelism and system extensibility.

A Windows HPC Server 2008 based 512-core parallel cluster called "MATLAB on the TeraGrid" is accessible now as an experimental resource on the TeraGrid, the nation's high-speed research network. Please see here for additional information on Teragrid and here for more information about this installation.
