4-page Case Study posted: 06/12/2009 Views: 403

RMJ Laboratories, a fast-growing cosmetics manufacturing company, needed a flexible enterprise resource planning system that could handle complex process-manufacturing requirements and scale to meet growing demand. The company previously used Sage ERP X3, formerly known as Adonix X3, but found that the system lacked critical functionality and was difficult and costly to modify. After a thorough search, company leaders opted to migrate to Microsoft Dynamics® NAV. Microsoft® Certified Partner Micro DataNet helped RMJ implement Microsoft Dynamics NAV and enhance the solution with Process Advantage, an add-on solution for Microsoft Dynamics designed specifically for process manufacturers. Now, RMJ benefits from tighter inventory management, improved quality control, and an enhanced ability to handle future growth.

Petrochemical Firm Achieves Savings, High Availability with Disaster Recovery Solution
4-page Case Study posted: 05/04/2009 Views: 105

Honam Petrochemical Corporation (HPC) produces plastics, synthetics, and basic chemicals and, following mergers with two other companies, was in the process integrating the various IT infrastructures. HPC wanted to simplify management by consolidating its servers and implementing an efficient disaster recovery solution, which was less costly than the existing remote solution. HPC deployed Windows Server® 2008 with the Cluster Continuous Replication function in Microsoft® Exchange Server 2007, to enable real time data recovery without investing in a costly remote recovery solution. By taking this approach HPC was able to reduce the IT costs incurred from the operation of its DR center by half, as well as greatly decrease the time for failure recovery from a maximum of four hours to within a minute, improving availability for its group companies.
