| An inspired
organization is what it takes it takes
to share and grow together on the vision
“Inspiring India to be
the World’s IT Nation”. |
| |
Community
Alliance program is based on the belief
that organizations are micrococcus
of community. The program is meant
for organizations with interest in
continued development and sharing
of knowledge with the community and
an eye on the future. The Microsoft
Community Alliance Program aims to
strengthen online and offline communities
and empower organizations to realize
their potential. |
| |
With
the adoption of Community Alliance
program, the organization can benefit
from: |
|
| » |
Continuous
engagement with Microsoft via the Community
Alliance Manager |
| » |
Improved
technical readiness and competency in
the organization with key individuals
taking the lead |
| » |
Generate
higher employee satisfaction with recognition |
| » |
Opportunity
to showcase company's technical talent
via leaders in the community thereby
building strong good will |
|
| |
| Microsoft leaves
it on the corporate group to drive the community
within themselves, and supports the group
in all possible ways. |
| |
| The program
recognizes two levels for your work with communities: |
| |
 |
The
Green Square: Every alliance
member is awarded this level once
they have initiated the community
activities in the company. The organization
should have minimally held an initial
introductory session on community
avenues for the employees and formed
an internal discussion group / forum. |
 |
The
Golden Circle: An Alliance
member with demonstrated execution
on community activities for more than
six months may be upgraded to this
level on request. Essentially, the
organization has to showcase its community
activities not only for its own employees
but also for the technical community
in the city/ state at large. |
|
| |
| What
will Microsoft provide? |
Microsoft
will closely work with your community and
provide the necessary resources that can
be shared by the members of the community.
A lot of attention is towards leveraging
the existing community resources available
from Microsoft inside an organization to
effectively utilize them for learning and
sharing. Microsoft will work with your organization
to closely determine the tools and processes
necessary to encourage community within
organization. It will make recommendations
for developing Microsoft technical community
within the organization leaving the actual
implementation to the organizational team. |
| |
| How
much does the partnership cost? |
There
is no monetary cost involved for signing
up for the alliance or for continuing the
same. All you need is a group of enthusiasts
who are willing to share knowledge and help
the peers grow. The idea of the program
is to work with the organization to enable
technical knowledge communities to flourish
within themselves. We only look for continued
interest and action by the organization
on the same. |
| |
| How
to enroll: |
As
an organization you should be ready to invest
in developing communities around Microsoft
technology, and see value in getting together
to share knowledge and learn more about
Microsoft technologies. The investment is
not monetary but in terms of employee time
and management willingness. |
