| Xbox has stolen a lead over
Playstation, but its 3-D virtual reality is still
perceptibly too virtual. If you think investment
advisors are not known for loyalty, meet Amit Mamgain,
27. He was a Sony Playstation loyalist for more
than two years, ever since he got hooked to the
PS2. Already has, claims Mohit Anand, Country Manager,
Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division, adding
all the same that, “It is not a 100 meter
dash we are looking at, it is a marathon, and the
first step has been pretty phenomenal.” |

Excerpts from an interview with
PeterM
How do you view the Indian gaming market, and how
big is the opportunity in this nascent gaming space?
India is similar to many other markets that are
developing interest in gaming. It is a young country
with entertainment flowing through its veins, lot
of computer science degrees, and student passing
out of universities who are comfortable with technology.
I believe that the broadband infrastructure will
act as a catalyst for the growth of the gaming space
here. |
