The Program

Microsoft conducts faculty training for Engineering and MCA teachers in order to support them in their efforts to teach Microsoft technologies to the aspiring young technologists. Any time a new Microsoft tool or technology is introduced into the University/Institute curriculum, the faculty members can make use of the training facilities offered by Microsoft under this program.

The Program provides a platform for the IT education community to keep abreast of the changing technologies. It empowers teachers in Computer Science to better prepare their students.

Eligibility/Procedure
|
All Faculty members of AICTE Approved Engineering and MCA colleges participating in the Microsoft Academic Developer Programme are eligible. Faculty members can request for a training program by sending an e-mail at indiacad@microsoft.com.

| Following are the requirements for Microsoft to be able to conduct the training.
|
- Training must be requested on a Microsoft tool or technology that has been introduced into the University/Institute’s Engineering or MCA curriculum.
- Microsoft shall bear the expenses of trainer and courseware. Training will be conducted on the premises of the college/university that requests for the program. Labs and classrooms of the college/university will be used for the training purpose. Microsoft shall provide all the software that is required for the training.
- A minimum of 15 faculty participants must be confirmed as the participants for the training.
- Duration of the program can range from 3 days to 5 days depending on the academic schedule and course contents.
