We wish to place on record the support we got from Microsoft in upgrading our technical capabilities. The initial training we had during end December 2005 and subsequent trainings and technical support gave us a new dimension to re-engineer some of our products as well as develop new ones on the .NET environment using DOT NET Framework 2.0 and SQL 2005. The following products were developed during this period:

• HMS.NET – We have re-designed our flagship product – Hospital Management System which was earlier developed on VB/SQL 2000.
• Radiology Information System - an application used by Radiologists to give remote analysis of Medical images. One of our customers in Bangalore has got certification by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCOAH), USA because of our Product.
• Project Management System is an application to manage mega-construction projects viz., Dams, Canals, Power Houses, Roads and Tunnels.
• Books Publication System has been developed for Sri Sathya Sai Books and Publications Trust, Puttaparti, AP.
• Customer Vehicle Information System is a product to keep track of customers who have booked vehicles from Toyota. The system manages servicing of vehicles.
• Play List Scheduler is a automated scheduler to manage broadcast of music and other programs on the World Space Radio.

The above achievements are purely on account of the partnership we have with Microsoft. They helped our Organisation in building our skill-set on the cutting edge technologies. In fact the support has now been extended further to apply for the new environment viz., Vista, WCF, WPF, WWF and Office 2007. With their continued support, we could deliver products to take to the market at rapid speed and with less turnaround time.

Of the above products, we are keen to re-deploy at least 3 products viz., HMS, RIS and PMS on the emerging technology of Vista/Long-horn. The designing of these products is in an advanced stage. With the type of support we are getting, we can realize our goal of bringing our products to the Launch Pad along with VISTA. We are confident mainly because of Microsoft’s commitment to developing the ISV eco-system in India which is exemplified by the way the technical and other teams are offering in-depth knowledge sharing and continued training methodologies in latest technologies through Early Adoption Programs like Ascend.

In short we would like to mention that Microsoft has helped us with building in-house Technical Expertise which has given us an edge over our competitors in building Products for the Future.

Asian CERC has been using Microsoft technologies for developing mission critical applications such as Order Routing and Trade Execution for the financial securities market. The company was introduced to the ASCEND program of Microsoft when it was delivering its solution to the Stock Exchange, Mumbai. The ASCEND program accelerated the delivery schedule for the applications to be deployed, as the support from Microsoft under this program came in abundance in the form of training and overcoming difficulties while developing the application.
