The Automotive industry has undergone a paradigm change

reuse could be achieved through User Controls.

Solution
Beanstalk, along with their software partner, Sonata
Software (India) designed and implemented an e-trading
system. The system has four key interfaces:
- The customer interface - Used by customers to search
for and shortlist vehicles and other related products.
- The agent interface - Used by agents to provide
backend services
- The dealer interface - Used by registered suppliers
to access customers' search requests and analyze customers'
needs.
- The admin interface - Used by site administrators
to perform administrative activities.
The system seamlessly integrated the different components
of the solution with the web, and provided a customized,
flexible and scalable solution to the customer's core
requirements. |
Benefits
The solution met the high performance and security needs
of a B2B/B2C e-trading framework, alongside enhancing the
flexibility in business operations. The company's invoice
processing has been cut from 10 days to 2 days, thereby significantly
accelerating its cash flow cycle.
The solution is future proof with provisions to add advanced
options such as wireless access through Web services.
“Sonnets”, a set of reusable components from Sonata along
with .NET's organized framework, has enabled an easily-configurable
system with low cost of maintenance, and less coding time.
