Microsoft appoints three new distributors for India
Rashi Peripherals, Neoteric Informatique and Compuage Infocom will facilitate Microsofts Volume licensing business here

New Delhi, Tuesday 22nd September, 2009: Microsoft today announced its association with Rashi Peripherals, Neoteric Informatique and Compuage Infocom as its new distributors for the volume licensing business in India. These three new distributors will provide licenses for resale and will be able to facilitate breadth business for Microsoft. They will play a significant role in making Microsoft solutions available across 400 cities through their extensive national footprint. Rashi Peripherals, Neoteric Informatique and Compuage Infocom will assist resellers with easier access to dedicated sales representatives, online product information and availability along with credit services, marketing support, pre-sales and post-sales training and also direct delivery for the products that resellers would like to sell. The three new distributors will join the ranks of the current distributors, eSys Information Technologies Ltd., Tech Pacific India Limited, Redington India Ltd. and IP Softcom (India) Pvt Ltd.
Rashi will be primarily responsible for Open Licenses (MOLP), Open Value Licenses (OVL) and Campus and School Agreements (CASA) through Volume licensing mode. “This association with Microsoft will enable us to leverage Microsoft’s offerings to diversify on our portfolio of products for the channel community.” said Mr. Rajesh Goenka, VP-Sales & Marketing, Rashi Peripherals Pvt. Ltd.
Distributor Compuage is keen to service the market in north India and with its commitment to providing cutting edge technology and impeccable service it will provide Microsoft solutions to the market extensively-given its reach. “Services and impeccable quality delivery has been our hallmark and we hope to consolidate that further by associating with Microsoft.” said Mr. Atul Mehta, Chairman & MD, Compuage Infocom Neoteric, which brings reach as a value proposition on board will service their extensive channel base in India. Mr. Kaushal Khandor, V.P. Sales, Neoteric, expressing enthusiasm at joining Microsoft as a distributor stated, “We plan to leverage our reach and value added approach to increase breadth of Microsoft business and also improve response times and service levels.”
