Amit Sircar is the General Manager of Microsoft Global Services India (MGSI). MGSI
supports Microsoft Services worldwide in bringing offshore global delivery capabilities
built on skills, scale, and cost effectiveness to leading enterprises across the
world. In a short span, Amit has helped establish MGSI as a key contributor to global
delivery by Microsoft Services and has driven effective utilization of MGSI's capabilities
by Microsoft Services. In a short span, Amit has helped establish global delivery
as a key contributor to Microsoft Services growth and has driven significant alignment
between the global delivery business in India and Microsoft Services worldwide.
A dynamic individual with an illustrious career spanning almost two decades, Amit
held several leadership roles with some of the world’s most respected brands.
He has diverse experience in managing services delivery teams across a wide spectrum
of functions: engineering, sales and marketing, brand management, relationship management
and operations.
Amit’s prior assignments include leading the marketing and customer operations for
Hewlett Packard’s Global Delivery Application Services division. He was the Group
General Manager Marketing at Wipro Infotech and Vice President for IBM (India)-
Industrial Sector.
Amit has been an active member of several business forums like CII IT Panel for
Karnataka, Calcutta, and CII Marketing Committee etc.
He holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University. Outside of
work, Amit loves spending time with his family, and enjoys watching a good game
of cricket.
