    • 4.5 million free downloads of developer and design tools by students under DreamSpark.

    • Project Kshamta – by 2015, 100,000 army jawans will retire with enhanced job prospects.
    • Project Jyoti- IT training for 430,000 young adults, of which more than 70% are now in formal employment.

    • Guinness World Records awarded Kinect the record for "fastest selling consumer electronics device," selling 8 million Kinect sensors within the first 60 days of launch
    • Microsoft has sold more than 66 million Xbox 360 consoles across 38 countries
    • Globally, Kinect has sold a whopping 18 million sensors since its launch
    • Global analysts, IDC and Gartner have forecast that by 2015, Windows Phone will be among the top 3 smartphone OS platforms worldwide
    • Since the October 2009 launch of Windows 7, more than 525 million Windows 7 licenses have been sold, making it the fastest-growing operating system ever.
