Microsoft IT-India is located in Hyderabad and is the largest center of Microsoft
IT outside of Redmond. It is the offshore arm of the Microsoft IT Engineering Divisions,
that comprise of a variety of niche technologies deployed in developing mission
critical business applications for Microsoft Corporation. MSIT-India is an eight
year old organization with talented IT professionals who consider the Centre a great
place to build their career and help our customers and partners realize their full
potential.
Microsoft IT- India practices process methodologies such as TSP/PSP, VSTF and Six
Sigma to improve its operational excellence and efficiency. It's the state-of-the
art, leading edge Microsoft technologies along with the world-class process rigor
that makes it an employer of choice. MSIT-India has grown to deliver almost 50%
of Microsoft internal IT applications requirements. Besides, it also manages Microsoft's
global data centres, corporate network, 10,000+ servers and various other infrastructure
management activities from Hyderabad.

Network Operations Center
|
|
|
The Network Operations Center located on the Microsoft campus in Hyderabad is the
backbone of the MSIT-India team that monitors and supports global IT operations
spanning over 1.3 million devices, 1000+ LOB applications and 1,94,000 end-users
in over 108 countries.
The IT infrastructure of Microsoft supports in excess of 104, 000 email server accounts
and traffic of over 3 million emails a day with 99.99% availability. In the process,
it has innovated processes for smooth delivery of infrastructure services remotely
from India.

Microsoft Executive Briefing Centre
|
|
|
MSIT-India also hosts the Executive Briefing Center (EBC), the only centre across
the Asia-Pacific region. The EBC provides Microsoft customers an overview of the
value of their IT investments. The end to end presence of R&D, Engineering,
IT, Sales and Service functions in India facilitates cross-functional synergies
making the EBC experience valuable for customers.
MSIT-India also has a large testing environment where the products are internally
deployed, and the proposed business value of the offerings is determined before
their release to market.
