minimal loss of knowledge. It is extracting, preserving

| Difficulties in
Current Scenario |
| Statistics indicate
that people tend to forget most of what they learn,
over time. We also face difficulties when the knowledge
acquired cannot be recollected when needed most.
This could be attributed to the fact that learning
has become an examination-oriented discrete process
as of today. There is no one platform where various
kinds of information can come together as knowledge
to spurn ideas. For instance, the material from
textbooks and notebooks that a student extensively
makes use of never gets connected to the information
that he/she finds on the internet. A combination
of such media, which is absent in the current scenario,
would be quite potent in achieving a comprehensive
learning process. |

| How does Recog
help? |
Recog aims to
provide the much needed conjunction between a student’s
class notes – on paper and digital, readings
from books, content from internet etc. It betters
the learning experience by aligning, and correlating
clusters of information into a consolidated, interconnected
framework. Recog employs artificial intelligence
to identify categories and keywords from whatever
content is supplied to it, conduct non-intrusive
automated searches for these, and then organise
and link this information for the user.
Recog also ensures that any content supplied to
it is indexed and easily searchable Also, Recog
is built to respect the initial format of the content
provided to it. So, if the notes from your notebook
are non-linearly fashioned, Recog would re-construct
them in your handwriting accordingly. With these
facilities at your fingertips, education would become
an entirely new and refreshing experience for you.
