- Once you’ve developed your app or game, Windows Phone Marketplace is where you can sell or give away your creation for free to the global audience of Windows Phone owners.

- Windows Phone Dev Center is a vibrant community of apps and game developers for Windows Phone. As part of Windows Phone Dev Center membership, you get a developer dashboard. So you can manage all aspects of how your app or game appears in Marketplace, monitor downloads, and track how much money you’ve earned if you charge for your work.
- What happens after I submit my app on Windows Phone Dev Center? How long does the certification process
take?
- After an app is submitted on Windows Phone Dev Center, it will be tested to verify
whether it adheres to the certification guidelines. If it passes certification testing,
then it will be published to the Windows Phone Marketplace.
The duration of the certification process is variable, but it usually takes around one to four weeks.

- DreamSpark provides professional-level developer and design tools to students at no charge. These Microsoft tools will help you advance your learning and skills through technical design, technology, math, science, and engineering activities.
- Why do I need a verified DreamSpark account to participate in this Program?
- A verified DreamSpark account enables students to apply for free membership of Windows Phone Dev Center.
- Where can I find the Publisher GUID?
- Login into Windows Phone Dev Center and go to the Account summary section to find your Publisher GUID.
