"Our users have gone through a cultural change. They increasingly use their daily activities. Their tolerance for delays in e-mail is getting thinner."

Introduction
The nearly 8,000 email users across the network of branches of PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, Tbk. (Danamon) communicate and collaborate in bank-wide to ensure effective operations that lead to its award-winning customer services and impressive business growth. For five years from 1999 to 2006, its messaging was built on IBM Lotus Domino software. While the platform served the basic need for e-mail, calendaring and scheduling, a more advanced and integrated communication and collaboration environment was required as the company grew. With the help of Master System and Kairos, Danamon replaced its messaging infrastructure with Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and implemented Exchange Unified Messaging technology on top of it. Today, the bank has a reliable messaging infrastructure with advanced functionality, including full support for its mobile executives.
