About Curt Kolcun

Curt Kolcun is Vice President of Microsoft's Federal Division, part of the company's Public Sector business vertical. He is responsible for sales, contracting, pre-sales technical support, consulting services, and product marketing for the company's U.S. federal government business.
Kolcun began his professional and technical career in the U.S. Air Force and has now been with Microsoft for more than 16 years. When he joined Microsoft, Kolcun was the company's first systems engineer assigned to work on the U.S. Department of Defense account, and he worked closely with product groups to lead Microsoft's initial field efforts on security, encryption, and standards initiatives.
