Most Federal, State, and Local governments are wrestling with how to make their organizations more Transparent and really start to embrace Gov 2.0.

Recovery.gov is a great template for us to learn from. In less than 3 months, they went from RFP to a Live Website. This was mainly due to the use of SharePoint’s Master pages, Amazon’s Cloud Services, and SQL 2008’s data and reporting.

Watch this page, blogs/tweets on/from this site, and my blogs/tweets about more details of Recovery.gov over the next coming days.

Tell us what you think of Recovery.gov and share your challenges implementing Transparent website. It will help us provide answers to issues that are of interest to you.

The only problem I have so far, is that there is no security certificate for this web site. How safe is this web site in regards to security?

Hi, did you receive an SSL error on this site or Recovery.gov? This site relies on Windows Live ID for authentication.
