Guidance: Collaboration Strategy
Introduction
This guidance helps healthcare organisations select the most appropriate
collaboration technology for their needs from Microsoft® Office Groove® 2007,
Microsoft® Office SharePoint® Server 2007 and Microsoft® Office Communications
Server 2007. The Collaboration Strategy Guidance describes the features
and relative strengths of each of the three products, provides guidelines about
when to use each product and adds examples illustrating typical usage scenarios.
This guidance is suitable for use by healthcare organisations that:
- Have not yet deployed Office SharePoint Server 2007 or Office Groove 2007
- Would like to define a strategy for how collaboration products should be used in their organisation
- Would like to begin to plan and define a business case
