SOLUTION ACCELERATOR - POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Introduction

The original Policies and Procedures Solution Accelerator assists healthcare organizations who find it difficult to create, maintain, publish and easily access policy and guideline information. In the worst case, these difficulties can result in poor or dangerous patient treatment and can be expensive to maintain (multiple paper copies equals increased printing costs). This Solution Accelerator must be installed in order to make use of the extension, Policies and Procedures 2.0 Solution Accelerator which provides additional features around the creation and maintenance of readership records.

The Policies and Procedures Solution Accelerator provides:

• A storage repository, with an example document taxonomy, where policies, procedures and guidelines can be published
• The ability to upload documents and assign metadata including a last review date
• A version history which is maintained for all documents
