January 31 - February 2, 2010 As the concept of the shared trading partner supply chain continues to evolve, trading partners are collaborating more and more on innovative partnerships that are increasing efficiencies, cutting costs, and streamlining the entire value chain. The Food Marketing Institute (FMI) and Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) are pleased to announce the inaugural Supply Chain Conference, sponsored and hosted jointly by GMA and FMI under the auspices of The Trading Partner Alliance (TPA). TPA is a merger of industry leadership through the respective association guiding councils, FMI's Industry Relations Council and GMA's Industry Affairs Council. Comprised of member companies presidents, TPA members identify synergistic opportunities for trading partners to work together to address industry issues. The 2010 Supply Chain Conference combines the best aspects of the GMA Information Systems and Logistics/Distribution Conference (IS/LD) and FMI's annual Supply Chain Conference into one full-scale event focused on collaborative practices that are helping CPG trading partners work together more efficiently and effectively to serve consumers. Designed by CPG manufacturers and retailers for CPG executives, the Supply Chain Conference is the only event of its kind, bringing together trading partners to analyze emerging trends, share model practices and facilitate enhanced collaboration throughout the CPG supply chain.
