Microsoft Releases Eclipse Tools for Silverlight

Eclipse 4SL version 1.0.0 M2 is an open source tool and Eclipse plug-in that works with the Eclipse Development Environment (IDE) and Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP) to provide greater interoperability between Silverlight and Java. The project has been submitted to the Eclipse Foundation and released as an open Eclipse project.

Microsoft Provides Java Database Connectivity Driver for Use with SQL Server 2005

In its continued commitment to interoperability, in February 2008 Microsoft released a new SQL Server 2005 Driver for PHP which is designed to enable reliable, scalable integration with SQL Server for PHP applications on the Windows Platform. The SQL Server 2005 Driver for PHP Community Technology Preview (CTP) download is available to all SQL Server users at no additional charge. BPEL for Windows Workflow provides developers with support for building applications using Windows Workflow Foundation and BPEL.
