How to License

Some of our technologies are available with standard terms while others have custom business terms.

In general, these are the steps that take place to license one of our technologies:

Select an offering on this Web site by using the "Search IP Catalog" box above.

If your company doesn't already have an NDA with Microsoft there is a link in each technology's Licensing tab To Request the NDA Form.

Sign the NDA and return it to Microsoft.

For our custom terms, ask to be contacted by Microsoft to ensure that the IP license will fit your business needs

A licensing agreement is drafted by Microsoft and sent to the licensee.

Agreement is signed.

Licensee is invoiced.

Deliverables are provided to the licensee by Microsoft under the terms of the agreement.
