I've been in my placement for over twelve months now, and I've been able to take advantage of some fantastic training opportunities. I've completed courses in things like programming, user experience, security. There's also the opportunity to do Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist Exams, which are of great benefit for anyone.

I found that everyone on my team is really approachable and friendly – managers have always got lots of time to answer any questions that you might have, and I've found everyone to be really helpful. Although the company itself is really large, you actually work in very small teams, so it's really easy to get to know everyone. You know, you really do feel part of a team, and I've just found it a very open and relaxed environment, so it's really good.

When I look back on my placement, I've had a fantastic year. It's been absolutely brilliant. The best thing, I think, is that you're getting to work on projects which are going to release software that millions of people are going to use. The other thing is that I've been able to take advantage of so many training and learning opportunities, it's really helped to develop my technical skills and also apply what you learn at College or University in the workplace. I'd certainly consider coming back as a graduate. I mean, the training opportunities themselves are fantastic; I believe the progression and development within the company are really excellent and I've had such a great year here as an intern, I'd certainly be interested in coming back as a graduate.
