Microsoft Ireland Architect Community
Are you an Architect working in Ireland? If so, Microsoft Ireland runs a programme of events locally aimed at helping you architect and build your solutions. These include:

The Irish Architect Council
Architects from the largest Irish organisations meet 3 times a year to discuss issues of architecture, technology and business.

The Irish Architect Forum
A group of 75 architects meeting twice a year to hear leading industry Architects discuss areas of interest. Our most recent meeting in Dublin in January included speakers from Thoughtworks and Microsoft discussing the theme of Interoperability and Integration.

Events and webcasts

Irish Architect Council, 27th April. Westin Hotel Dublin.
Thanks to everyone for a great turnout for this Council. Dino Chiesa from Microsoft spoke about Realising SOA.

Architect Bootcamp - 2nd, 3rd February, Co. Wicklow.

Some of the quotes from our first two day Architect Bootcamp held in beautiful Brooklodge, Co. Wicklow. 16 Irish Architects worked for two days on a sample problem and applied their skills to design a SOA solution. This event was massively over subscribed, sorry to those who couldn't get a space - I'll make sure to run more events like this. The decks, case study and agenda content is available to download here.

Architect Forum 27th January, Merrion Hotel, Dublin.

This years Forum was a great success. The theme was interoperability and integration and we heard a keynote from Thoughtworks as well as case studies and patterns guidance. Thanks to all who attended. The slides are available to download here.

Irish Architect Council 20th October

Architectural web casts
