Microsoft MEA Partner Differentiation and Pipeline Incentive (PDPI) Program
|
|
MEA PDPI is an exclusive incentive program for Microsoft partners who identify, propose and create new business opportunities based on Microsoft technology. In order to join the program, partners must comply with the program conditions provided. MEA PDPI rewards partners with a financial incentive of 10% for each Product sold based on list price of Licenses required for the proposed solutions, projects or achievements upon the closing of reported sales and following the verification of their registration in Microsoft’s management systems.

PDPI Program – Requirements
In order to benefit from the incentives, the following requirements must be met by the promoting Partner in the country where the program will be implemented:

Referenced customers must purchase one or more eligible Microsoft products related to the proposed solution, exclusively selected among the following Microsoft agreements: EA New, EA True-up, EA Subscription New, EA Enrollment New, Open Value/MYO, Open Volume License & SA, Open Subscription and Select License & SA and, total Microsoft revenue bigger than minimum annual deal size of $30,000USD

The following requirements must be met to be eligible for MEA PDPI Program, Partner shall:
| a) |
Be a Microsoft Gold Certified which will be identified through MSPP code
|
| b) |
Have specialization on at least 3 competencies among the following competencies : Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, Business Intelligence Solutions, Custom Development Solutions, Data Management Solutions, Hosting Solutions, Information Worker Solutions, ISV/Software Solutions, Security Solutions, SOA and Business Process, Unified Communication Solutions

| c) |
Employ six technical resources being at least two dedicated technical certified people per 3 competencies that names and contact details to be declared
|
| d) |
Employ at least two sales resources dedicated to solutions and project sales running on Microsoft technologies that names and contact details to be declared
|
| e) |
Have at least 5 customer references with at least one for each competency, which were closed in the last 12 months and recognized as eligible references by PAM-Partner Account Manager and/or Account Manager

In order to benefit from Microsoft PDPI initiative, every time a new opportunity is notified each of the requirements listed below must be satisfied:
| a) |
It must refer exclusively to business opportunities which have not already been included in Microsoft Pipeline and must identify solutions, projects or achievements agreed with Microsoft based on Microsoft technologies and must be on one of the attained competencies. Standard LAR (Large Account Reseller) license sales transaction opportunities/engagements are excluded; If the opportunity is a LAR basic license sales transaction satisfying customer needs regarding their license coverage and/or providing additional license needs within recently purchased/implemented solutions initiated by different other partners or resources on Microsoft platform, those deals cannot be logged and will not be included into the PDPI program.

| b) |
Each Prospect must be submitted to Microsoft by email. Complete and email this form. Please specify Partner Company name in the Subject line of this email message. If you have questions about the form, send an email to meapdpi@microsoft.com.

| c) |
During the first 60 days of Prospect, Partner shall report basic sales engagement activities which includes; updates of MSSP Opportunity Sales Cycle (starting from 10%-Qualify to 100%-Deploy) and a minimum of 3 major activities including but not limited to POC-Proof of Concept, technology briefing, MTC-Microsoft Technology Center visit, workshop or increase in step rate by a factor of one based on IO profiling of the customer. These updates shall be submitted to assigned PAM email, cc’d. Complete and email this form. Please include the Opportunity ID in the Subject line of this email message. | d) |
Stalled opportunities will be disengaged and notified through email due to no sales cycle movement within first 60 days and failure to report activities with customer proving basic sales engagement.

| e) |
In case two partners (say A & B) logged for the same opportunity, Partner A will get 50% of the award if the deal is closed by the other Microsoft partner B. Partner B if eligible is entitled to receive the balance of 50% of the award even if he was not able to report Prospect primarily. Any Special Discount above 5% on License price to end Customer will be deducted from the Partner’s incentive.

How to Enroll in the PDPI Program
To become part of the PDPI program, partners shall:

Carefully review and fill necessary documents for the PDPI program.

Submit the declaration document by email to meapdpi@microsoft.com.

Wait for a confirmation e-mail from Microsoft for receipt of application into the program which will be followed by printed "PDPI Contract" to sign.
