Tunisia Industry Cluster Initiative

Tunisia launched their Industry Cluster, a joint initiative with Tunisia’s government, in March, providing technical guidance for 10 Tunisian companies focused on the vertical markets: Telecommunications, Financial, Healthcare, Education and Government. All activities will be hosted by the local Microsoft Innovation Center that will provide technical and business mentorship, while accelerating the enrollment in MSPP fostering the competencies of Software Development, Software Solutions Integration, E-Services, M-Services and Security.

Tunisia Industry Cluster Initiative

The Initiative aims at providing a technical endorsement to 10 Tunisian IT companies, to address specific development needs for the following sectors:

  • Telecommunications
  • Banks and Finance
  • Healthcare and Biotechnologies
  • Education
  • Embedded Systems
  • E-Government

  • Archimed
  • Discovery
  • BFI/Vermeg
  • Telnet
  • GET Wireless
  • Progidec

Through the MIC, Microsoft will support these companies to develop solutions and build competencies in:
  • Software Development
  • Software solutions Integration
  • E-services
  • M-services
  • Security

The selected companies will attend the following courses:
  • SBMC Course
  • Skills Accelerators: VS2008, SQL 2008 (Scheduled from 25th to 27th of April)
  • Microsoft Solution Framework
  • Best Practices in Software Development

In addition, Microsoft will certify 2 persons per company, and will enroll them in MSPP (Microsoft Partner Program) to help them fully benefit from our skills building program and extend their market coverage.
