  • Microsoft Office SharePoint Server – Interoperability With SAP

This session will be focused on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server and the interoperability with SAP NetWeaver Portal as well as with SAP ECC. We will cover standards like Web services, Web service for remote portlets, single sign-on, enterprise services, and the business data catalog search.

    Speaker(s): Juergen Daiberl

  • SAP and Microsoft Interoperability at its Best

Interoperability becomes more and more important as business applications are blending with infrastructure and building the future business process platform (BPP). This enables flexibility, an agile business platform, and many positive aspects like immediate reaction on market changes. But of course the maturity of the heterogeneous platform causes the growth of complexity in the overall IT landscape as well. This was one of many reasons for SAP and Microsoft to partner and solve those problems through the standardization of the products using Web services. This session will cover Web service interoperability between Microsoft .NET and SAP NetWeaver, Enterprise Services, the Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), as well as different scenarios like the integration of Microsoft Unified Communication Technology and SAP, office business applications, Duet, and Microsoft Project Server.

    Times:
    Wed, 10:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.

    Speaker(s): Juergen Daiberl

You will find the sessions also on the SAP TechEd site at http://www.sapteched.com/usa/edu_sessions/speakerInfo.htm?id=2203.

Microsoft will also have a booth on the exhibition floor so if you miss a session feel free to stop by and get in touch with one of the Microsoft – SAP experts.

Hope to see you in Las Vegas.
