      Microsoft recommends that you use the Office Product Updates site to determine if your computer requires this update before installing it.

      The Access 2002 Runtime Update: KB813617 provides the latest updates to the Access 2002 Runtime. This update contains significant security enhancements as well as stability and performance improvements.

      The Access 2002 Runtime Update also includes stability improvements developed as a result of user input from the Error Reporting Tool in Office XP as well as Microsoft Product Support feedback.

      Any public updates for the Access 2002 Runtime released after this update will require the installation of this update.
