To participate in the VAC program, follow these steps:

  1. Request the VAC program agreement by sending us an e-mail message.

  2. Review and complete the program agreement, including the exhibits.

  3. Mail the program agreement and the administrative fee to the program administrator listed under "Contact Information" in the program agreement. Provide a contact name, mailing address, e-mail address, and phone or fax number if you would like to receive additional information.

  4. Comply with the courseware review and logo usage requirements detailed in the program agreement and exhibits.

Q.  How long does it take to approve a VAC agreement?

A.

Approval takes about three weeks from the time the agreement is received, unless modifications are requested.

Q.  Are there fees for membership?

A.

Yes, Microsoft charges an annual administrative fee and courseware review fees. For details, see the program agreement.

Q.  When can I display the VAC logo on courseware?

A.

You can display the VAC log on courseware after the following requirements are met:

  • The program agreement is signed by Microsoft and the vendor.

  • All fees are paid.

  • The review requirements for the courseware are fully satisfied.

Q.  If my company purchases previously approved courseware content from a VAC and republishes that content under its own name, can the republished courseware display the VAC logo?

A.

No, only members of the Microsoft Business Certification Vendor of Approved Courseware program can display the VAC logo on their courseware. If your company is not a VAC, it cannot legally display the VAC logo on its courseware or anywhere else.

Q.  As a current Microsoft Office Specialist approved vendor, how can I become an approved vendor?

A.

To become an approved vendor for 2007 courseware, you must fill out a new program agreement.
