About this Course
The two day Microsoft Business Solutions Great Plains Integration Manager course develops your understanding of how to integrate outside systems with your Microsoft Great Plains accounting application through the use of tools designed to safely and easily import records. You'll find value in using Integration Manager for safely converting data into a new Microsoft Great Plains installation, or as an ongoing way to integrate data from your external business databases, e-commerce solutions and desktop applications with Microsoft Great Plains. In addition to Integration Manager, information will be provided on Table Import. Table Import enables you to quickly transfer data from other sources into Microsoft Great Plains, regardless of module, table, operating system or database.

Module 2: Import Utility
This chapter focuses on Import Utility. We will examine the features and benefits of using Import Utility to import data into Microsoft Great Plains. We will review the basic steps in creating a table import. There is also a section on resources that can be used to determine what information needs to be imported and how to determine field structures. We will then define and perform an import.

Module 3: Integration Manager Overview
The purpose of this chapter is to identify the features and benefits of Integration Manager. We'll go over the Integration Manager installation as well.
