Audience Profile
This exam is intended for IT professionals who design, implement, and manage mobile infrastructures, mobile devices, and mobile applications in an enterprise or small or medium-sized business environment. The qualified candidate for this exam typically has:
  • Experience with or knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 or Exchange Server 2007 concepts such as Outlook Web Access (OWA), Outlook Mobile Access (OMA) , and Exchange ActiveSync (EAS).
  • One to two years of experience working with Active Directory directory service.
  • At least one year of experience working with mobile devices.
  • Experience using or managing Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 with the Messaging and Security Feature Pack.
  • Experience with or knowledge of mobile and general network security concepts such as firewalls, reverse proxy, certificates, and configuring security protocols (EAP, TLS, WPA, WEP, and 802.1x).
  • Experience with or knowledge of Microsoft ActiveSync 4.1 or later.
  • Experience with or knowledge of messaging protocols such as Short Message Service (SMS) and Hotmail (HTTP).
