| Audience Profile This exam is intended for IT professionals who have two or more years of experience in managing a Windows-based network and at least 12 to 18 months of hosting experience. We recommend that the candidate have the following skills and experience. The Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) on Windows Server 2003 credential or equivalent knowledge Knowledge equivalent to that taught in Course 2576: Implementing and Administering Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 Familiarity with operational best practices such as those described in the Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
The candidate should have the ability to configure and manage: IIS Active Directory Network storage Network and Security infrastructures Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2003 R2 Multiple Web sites Managed and unmanaged servers Static and dynamic Web sites Multiple servers Shared and dedicated servers Automate administrative tasks |
