Retail sales specialists work directly with customers. These specialists are taught to identify customers' needs and recommend solutions that meet those needs. Retail sales specialists recommend connected solutions that use the Windows Vista platform. The connected solution includes personal computers, home automation, home networking, and home entertainment.

  • Articulate complicated scenarios in simple, creative ways that inform consumers about the benefits of a connected home solution.
  • Recommend a complete connected solution based on the customer's needs.
  • Recommend upgrades and/or additional products to a customer's existing computing environment to enable a connected solution.
  • Recommend a solution that includes a Windows Home Server.
  • Recommend a solution that includes a Media Center Extender.
  • Recommend an appropriate version of Windows Vista and required hardware.
