- This objective may include but is not limited to: installing and configuring Windows Server 2008, AD DS, DHCP Server, IIS 7.0, and ConfigMgr 2007
- Install and configure MDT.
- This objective may include but is not limited to: installing the Microsoft Development Toolkit, enabling Configuration Manager Console integration, configuring the Network Access Account, updating live data in Information Center
- Install and configure additional tools.

- Install and configure other applications.

- Conduct build verification tests (BVTs).

Deploying to Production (21 percent)- Select an MDT deployment method.

- Select a deployment medium.

- Monitor deployment status by using the MDT Management Pack (MP) for System Center Operations Manager 2007.
- This objective may include but is not limited to: installing, configuring, and using the MP to monitor deployment success or failure
- Report deployment status by using System Center Configuration Manager Reporting.

- Troubleshoot security configurations.
