Microsoft Press sometimes has opportunities for freelance technical reviewers to help us ensure that our books are accurate. For this role, you should have solid programming or IT experience and a passion for Microsoft technology. You do not need to be an editor, but you should have an eye for detail and be able to spot errors in technical content. You should possess the technical knowledge to identify areas in manuscripts that need more or less coverage and be able to evaluate appropriateness of content based on a target audience.
If you fit these qualifications and are interested in performing technical reviews for Microsoft Press, send an e-mail message to presstr@microsoft.com. Specify your area of expertise and the types of Microsoft Press books you would most like to review, and include your resume.
