If you have the MCSE on Windows Server 2003 certification, you only need to pass one exam (70-649) to earn all three Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) on Windows Server 2008 certifications. These three MCTS on Windows Server 2008 certifications are required prerequisites for the MCITP: Enterprise Administrator certification. Or, you can take Exam 70-648 to earn two of the MCTS on Windows Server 2008 certifications. These two MCTS certifications are required prerequisites for the MCITP: Server Administrator certification (see the preceding figures). Most people who hold an MCSE on Windows Server 2003 certification will pursue the MCITP: Enterprise Administrator certification.
