Q.How many Microsoft Certified Architects (MCAs) are there worldwide?
A.

As of April 2007, there are 81 infrastructure and solutions MCAs.

There are 44 MCAs from the United States and 37 MCAs from countries and regions including the United Kingdom, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, Latin America, India, Norway, France, Japan, the Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland, Germany, and Canada.

Of the 81 MCAs, 36 MCAs are from Microsoft Corporation and 45 MCAs are from other corporations, consulting firms, and businesses.

Of the 81 MCAs, 27 MCAs are infrastructure architects and 54 MCAs are solutions architects.

Q.What are my chances of passing the review board interview?
A.

The interview process to achieve the certification is extremely rigorous. To be successful, candidates must demonstrate to the review board that they possess the competencies at the level the certification requires. When candidates enter the program, they will be provided access to resources to help them prepare for their review board interview. Candidates should use these resources to increase their chance of earning the certification.
