The Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer + Internet (MCSE+I) credential was for professionals who enhance, deploy, and manage sophisticated intranet and Internet solutions that are based on Microsoft Windows NT and Windows Server systems. In addition, MCSE+I certified professionals manage and analyze Web sites.
Although exams are no longer available for this certification and it is no longer possible to earn the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer + Internet (MCSE+I) certification, individuals who earned the (MCSE+I) certification will remain certified.
MCSE+I on Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 candidates were required to pass seven operating system exams and two elective exams that provide a valid and reliable measure of technical proficiency and expertise. These exams were developed with the input of professionals in the industry, and they reflect how Microsoft products are used in organizations throughout the world.
