How to earn your MCTS certification on Windows Server 2008Each MCTS certification requires one exam, as shown in the following table.
If you are a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) with Windows Server 2003 certifications, you can follow an upgrade path to multiple MCTS certifications.
The MCTS certifications will be retired when Microsoft discontinues mainstream support for the related technology.
