Q: The new Microsoft Student with Encarta Premium 2007 product includes Learning Essentials for Office. How is this different?
A:Microsoft Student with Encarta Premium 2007 provides homework tools and resources for students. Microsoft Student enables students to have the same Office tools at home that they have access to at school through Learning Essentials.

Q: Who is eligible to receive Learning Essentials?
A:Learning Essentials is an Office product benefit for Microsoft Academic Volume License customers. Academic customers who have or acquire volume licenses for Microsoft Office 2007, Office 2003 or Office XP, Standard or Professional editions, under Academic Open, Academic Select, Campus Agreement or School Agreement are licensed to use Learning Essentials at no additional cost. This includes schools, higher education institutions, and public libraries.

Q: How do Academic customers get Learning Essentials?

Additional languages may be added. The localized versions are not translations of the English version, but fully localized with content from local publishers and content providers.

Q: Is Learning Essentials available to students through Student Option or Student Select?
A:No. Learning Essentials is specially developed for academic institutions use. The Student version of Learning Essentials is available to students through Microsoft Student, which is available through Student Option or Student Select or at retail.
