Volume License Keys: Campus and School Agreement Customers
Volume License CDs and CDs from the Campus/School Agreement Product Welcome Kit will be the only media available for multiple installations under the terms of the agreement. Retail media kit CDs (boxed product purchased through a retail outlet) will no longer be available for multiple installations. Also, Product Welcome Kit and Volume License CDs will no longer include a product key (previously printed on the CD packaging).
To use the Campus/School Agreement Product Welcome Kit or Volume License CDs, customers will need to acquire a Volume License Key for the licensing program in which they are enrolled. Please note that retail media will not accept Volume License Keys. During product installation from the Product Welcome Kit or Volume License CDs, the administrator will be prompted for a 25-character product key. Instead of using the product key that was previously located on the CD packaging, the administrator will need to use his or her appropriate Volume License Key. These special product keys will facilitate multiple installations from a single CD. The product will not install from the Product Welcome Kit or Volume License CD without the use of this Volume License Key.
Campus or School Agreement customers can obtain their Volume License Keys by visiting the Microsoft Volume License Services site. If you can not find them or they are not available you can do the following:
1. | Obtain your Enrollment Agreement Number and be prepared to provide it to the Customer Service representative because a Volume License Key will not be issued without it. If you do not have this information please contact your Large Account Reseller (LAR) or Volume Licensing administrator. | ||||

Europe, Middle East, and Africa Only: Student Option Under Campus Agreements
If you have signed up for the Student Option under your Campus agreement, you will need to issue your students with a product key to enable them to install the product. This product key is not the Volume License Key referenced above. Please contact your reseller to order the keys to be issued to students (one key per student). Please order your media through your reseller as usual. The media can still be used on a library/loan basis, and a unique key issued to each student for each installation.
