Before you use: See Available Software Assurance E-Learning Courses You get select E-Learning courses for a set number of users that varies by product and the type of licenses you have with Software Assurance. Because they are meant to support the products you purchase, your E-Learning courses match the type of products you have with Software Assurance—meaning if you have Office 2010, your E-Learning benefits include courses on Office 2010 products. Activate and Distribute Software Assurance E-Learning You can easily offer Software Assurance end-user training to your employees by using VLSC to activate this benefit. When you activate E-Learning, you will receive E-Learning access codes, which you can distribute directly to your end users. You can also use optional administrator tools to help you assign and track learning plans for individuals across your organization. See the Learning Central Administrator Guide for more information. Learn About Software Assurance Office 2010 Running Start Demonstration Sessions Office 2010 Running Start Demonstration Sessions can help you accelerate end-user readiness training and increase the success of your Office 2010 deployments. Providing an overview of the Microsoft Office 2010 suite of technologies and its features, these short, repeatable sessions can be delivered on-site or virtually to large groups of Office users. When you use: Choose a Course To find training that’s right for you, review the current course list. To locate Software Assurance-redeemable classes, be sure to select SA under Program Type. Use Your Code to Access E-Learning Your Software Assurance Manager gives you an access code or directly assigns you training that enables you to get online training in one of three E-Learning categories: applications (Office), systems (Windows), or servers (Exchange, SQL). You’ll need a personal Windows Live ID to access your E-Learning course(s). Schedule Your Office 2010 Running Start Demonstration Sessions Available to Software Assurance customers with unused Training Voucher days, Office 2010 Running Start Demonstration Sessions are intended for large groups of Office users and are approximately one hour in length. To get started, choose a participating Microsoft Learning Partner and select a day when you can schedule at least four repeatable sessions to support end-user familiarity and readiness for new software and drive deployment success. This activation process is similar to the voucher creation and redemption process you use to access your Technical Training benefits. Home Use Program To put even more momentum behind end-user training, take advantage of the Home Use Program to give your employees the latest version of Microsoft Office for their home computer via a low-cost download.
