The Home Use Program is a Software Assurance benefit, available as part of Microsoft’s Volume Licensing programs. Through this offering, you can provide licensed employees access to a copy of Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 and other applications to install and use on a home computer during the term of your Software Assurance coverage.
New: Home Use Program software is now available in many countries* as a download! Employees can purchase, install and use the Microsoft Office software the same day.
The Home Use Program is designed to maximize return on your Microsoft software investment by helping to boost employee productivity, training, and satisfaction, while reducing your IT support costs.
The Home Use Program can:
-
Increase employee efficiency. Employees can use the same Microsoft Office system software at home and at work. Increased familiarity with the programs helps employees be more productive on the job.
-
Reduce your IT burden. Home Use Program customers have found that employees make fewer helpdesk calls when they have the opportunity to improve their software skills at home. Employees also become familiar with new software versions, which can help lower the cost of training.
Enable flexible work solutions for employees. The Home Use Program supports flexible work and telecommuting options while also providing employees with significant savings on software.
Offering the Home Use Program benefit to your employees is easy. Follow the instructions outlined on the Activate tab and then provide the program code to eligible employees so they can order directly from the Home Use Program Web site.
