With the Step-Up License Availability in Software Assurance, you can step up from a lower-level software edition to a higher-level edition of certain products. Upgrades are available at any time during the term of your Software Assurance coverage.
For example, if your organization currently has Office Standard 2007 deployed on your desktops, you can "step up" to Office Professional Plus 2007. Step-Up options vary by product.
