Microsoft Single Sign-On Option

Microsoft currently offers one SSO option to simplify password management:

Enter ID and password once to access institution-hosted applications and Microsoft-hosted services.
Reduce IT professional workload and complexity to enable sharing resources across organizational/service boundaries.

Managed Domain SSO
Single Sign-On Solution for Live@edu customers who want to sign in without having to re-enter their user ID and password to any of the Live services on the web. Requires additional setup steps with Windows Live ID: Need WLID-issued CERT and property set on university namespace. Solution is agnostic to the university authentication infrastructure (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, ADAM, etc.). Solution does not require ILM installation or any additional software cost. Microsoft provides an SSO SDK toolkit, which can be requested during enrollment.
