System requirements for Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition

The following table lists the minimum hardware and software requirements to install Microsoft Entourage 2008 for Mac, Web Services Edition.

Caution

If you are using Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 or earlier versions of Exchange Server with Entourage, we recommend that you do not install Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition.

Mac OS X v10.4.9 or a later version

Hard disk

1.5 GB of available hard disk space; Hierarchical File System (HFS)+ hard disk format (also known as Mac OS Extended or HFS Plus)

Microsoft Exchange Server

Connectivity to Update Rollup 4 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (KB952580) or a later version. To download Update Rollup 4, open Update Rollup 4 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (KB952580)Click this link to open a browser window. on the Microsoft Web site.

Important

Update Rollup 4 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (KB952580) must be applied to both the Mailbox server and the Client Access server roles.

Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac Service Pack 2 (12.2.0)

NoteTo successfully run Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition, make sure that Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac Service Pack 2 (12.2.0) and the latest updates to it are installed. The installer checks for the required updates on the client computer. If the latest updates of Office 2008 are not found, the installer quits.
